4 year old kindergarten- Koala Group and Possum Groups 2021

rom 4 years of age, children are eligible* for 15 hours of funded kindergarten.


4 year old  kindergarten- 2021

  Monday 8.45am to 2.45pm     Koalas 
  Tuesday 8.45am to 2.45pm     Possums
 Wednesday- Bush kinder sessions- Morning group 8.45am to 11.45am   Afternoon group 12.45pm to 3.45pm
  Thursday 8.45 to 2.45pm    Koalas 
  Friday  8.45am to 2.45pm  Possums 



The fees for 4 yr old kinder 2021 are set at $450 per term and includes the Bush kinder session. Parents are welcome to negotiate payment options with the administrator as required.

3 year old Funded Kindergarten- 

 Children who have turned 3 years of age are eligible^ for our 3 year old program. 3 yr old kinder is designed to introduce
children to the kindergarten and become familiar with both staff and other children in our community. 

3 year old children attend for 3 sessions totalling 12 hours  per week on a rotational system.

There are Three groups- Wallabies, Echidnas & Bilbies
Wallabies will attend- Monday 9.00am - 1.30pm, Wednesday (one of two sessions- either 9.00am to12.00pm or 1.00pm to 4.00pm ) & Thursday 9.00am- 1.30pm
Echidnas will attend - Monday 9.00am - 1.30pm , Tuesday 9.00 - 1.30pm  & Wednesday (one of two sessions- either 9.00am-12.00pm or 1.00pm to 4.00pm )
Bilbies will attend- Tuesday 9.00am - 1.30pm  , Wednesday (one of two sessions- either 9.00am to12.00pm or 1.00pm to 4.00pm )  & Thursday  9.00am - 1.30pm 

 
Fees for 3 year old kinder are $350 per term. 

*November 2020- Government has announced free kinder for 2021 for all funded programs

Both programs require the help of parents/care givers to assist with morning tea, lunch and laundry duties.
 Occasionally there are other jobs like, mending toys, sewing, book covering, gardening, mowing, accompanying children on excursions etc.

In addition to the grant received from the Department of Education and Early childhood development, your fees contribute to the operational costs of our kindergarten. i.e Staff salaries, educational equipment and supplies, cleaning, utilities, insurance and staff professional development.

Eligibility-
* Turned 4 prior to the 30th of April in the year in which they attend kindergarten.
^ Turned 3 prior to the 30th of April  in the year in which they kindergarten (Children must have turned 3 before they can start sessions and must be toilet trained)

*Kindergarten Fee Subsidy

The purpose of the kindergarten fee subsidy is to make kindergarten fees affordable for eligible low-income families.

The kindergarten fee subsidy is State Government funding paid to our organisation to enable concession card holders to attend our 4 yr old kindergarten at a subsidised cost (for families meeting the eligibility criteria).

The kindergarten fee subsidy is paid directly to our funded organisation on your behalf.
